Dr. Shawn Desai, PhD, JD | CEO
Dr. Shawn Desai brings over two decades of laboratory experience, including 15 years in the clinical laboratory sector, to his role as CEO of Refined Instruments. A George W. Woodruff Scholar, he earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Emory University, followed by a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is a board-certified High-Complexity Laboratory Director and remains in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
Dr. Desai has successfully owned and operated clinical laboratories and has extensive experience in selling analytical equipment to a wide range of medical laboratories, including physician office labs, reference labs, and hospital systems across the United States.
With his unique blend of scientific expertise, legal acumen, and operational leadership, Dr. Desai is committed to delivering exceptional value and partnership in every aspect of laboratory instrumentation and operations.
